Short description
SBB CFF FFS renewed the dual-track section between Waltenschwill and Müri. Work in the preparatory phase was generally undertaken at night; the entire section was then reported as navigable again in the morning. The main work on this project, such as the demolition and changeover of the catenary, was undertaken during two total closure periods on one weekend. The demolition of one entire side (approximately 5 km) was undertaken first, followed by installation of the new catenary.
