Short description
Several construction phases 600V DC were carried out on approx. 850 metres of tram and trolleybus catenary. A new tram line across Hardbrücke allowed two districts of Zurich city to be connected by tram. The existing trolleybus catenary was also renewed and adapted to the new circumstances during the course of the project. This involved the installation of various tram / trolleybus crossings. The project included special poles and an earthing concept in addition to the catenary components. Various adaptations to the existing bridge, islands and the railway station were also completed in addition to the work on the catenary lines and tracks.
