Short description
About 900 m of tram track was renewed on Stampfenbachstrasse. This involved a major repositioning of the track with shifts of up to about 3.5 m. The catenary system was also redesigned. Various new support points (poles and wall bolts) had to be found for this purpose, and support structures had to be adapted. This was carried out in multiple construction phases with various external impediments (trees) and on a heavily trafficked road.
